Introducing Associated Contractors

At Accent Renovations we are passionate about quality workmanship. Over the years we’ve had the pleasure of working with some phenomenal project partners on our renovations projects, and it got us to thinking “how can we create more collaboration between like minded contractors in the Okanagan who are trying to grow their business while also providing clients with access to a network of highly qualified renovations professionals?”

Boom – enter Associated Contractors, a hub of associated trades people including builders, renovators, plumbers, electricians, interior designers, painters, and more. We have taken the co-working space model that’s become popular in the tech industry and applied it to the trades & renovations industry. Our shared office space gives independent contractors a place to headquarter and interface with other trades professionals. It will provide access to better resources, as well as the opportunity for referrals and collaboration.

This is not only beneficial to the contractors but to their clients as well. Imagine the convenience of having access to all the qualified professionals you need for your next renovation project under one roof? Not only will you save time, but you’ll also get the confidence that comes with referrals from the pros you know and trust.

We wanted to give you a sneak peek of the space as it is currently under construction. The design is going to showcase a unique, modern, industrial style with finishings in metal, wood, and concrete. The whole look and feel says “Reclaimed industrial with a modern twist”. When entering on the first floor you will be see an open social space with flat screen TVs mounted on the wall and leather couches. The furniture and light fixtures selected for the space are reclaimed, industrial inspired pieces that give you the feeling of craftsmanship, design, and quality. Couple this with feature accents like galvanized steel and modern art installations and you get the overall “industrial meets modern” vibe of the space.

Head to the second floor via the stairs, constructed with reclaimed wood and steel risers with backlit LED nosings. Upstairs you will find individual office spaces with sliding barn doors, exposed metal ductwork in the hallway, and a coffee bar with knotty alder custom cabinets. Throughout the space you will find custom built furniture and fixtures. The entire design really showcases the talent of the professionals who will be occupying the office.

We are excited to open the doors in March and will be providing updates along the way. Find us at 445 Banks road in Kelowna, BC.
